On 27 June 2025, Ebnat AG celebrated its 111th anniversary with an unforgettable event on the company premises in Ebnat-Kappel. Under the motto "111 years full of ideas, innovations and unforgettable moments", employees, partners, customers, suppliers and representatives from politics and business came together to celebrate the success story of Ebnat AG.

Insight, experience, emotions
To kick things off, we opened our doors for company tours. In beautiful summer weather, the guests then enjoyed aperitifs and snacks - accompanied by music from Appenzeller Echo and accompanied live by a wood artist who carved an oversized toothbrush out of a tree trunk - symbolising Ebnat’s craftsmanship.

Celebrating sustainably
The attention to detail was also evident in the decoration: 15 living trees from the Bleiker tree nursery decorated the marquee - they were rented and returned after the event. «Herb pots» decorated the tables and were given to guests to take home with them.
A culinary highlight was the vegetarian dinner by Genial Delikat, which delighted even die-hard meat lovers with its regional ingredients. The professional, cordial service rounded off the experience perfectly.

Entertainment at the highest level
The evening not only offered culinary delights, but also culture: CEO Michele Vela welcomed the guests on stage and engaged in a warm-hearted interview with Philipp Langenegger. Together with Martin O. and the Appenzeller Echo - known as the Appenzeller World Tour - they provided entertainment with humour, voice and musical class.
Another emotional highlight: The unveiling of the new Ebnat logo. In a surprising staging, Michele Vela left the marquee to receive a "delivery" - it was the new Ebnat AG logo. The new brand image was celebrated with fireworks, confetti and loud applause.

A strong sign of solidarity
Finally, the toothbrush carved in the afternoon was ceremoniously presented to the long-standing partner Curaden. Marco Zavaloni expressed his thanks on behalf of the company for the trusting cooperation.
Ebnat AG was particularly pleased about the participation of Esther Friedli and Benedict Würth, both Members of the Council of States, as well as of the National Councillors Barbara Gysi and Mike Egger, who showed their appreciation for the event.

Into the future with a new logo
The anniversary celebration was not just a look back at 111 years of company history - it was a sign of new beginnings. We are starting our next chapter with a new brand identity, strong partnerships and a clear focus on innovation and sustainability.
