The sweeping set Palm combines timeless Ebnat design with a consistently sustainable material concept. The dustpan and hand sweeper are made from natural, renewable raw materials and are completely plastic-free. The focus here is on the intelligent use of materials - in line with the responsible use of resources.

The palm leaf dustpan is made from discarded palm leaf sheaths. No trees need to be felled and no plants need to be har-vested. Despite its natural origin, the dustpan impresses with its usual stability and is suitable for both dry and damp dirt. The ergonomically shaped handle sits comfortably in the hand, while the flat edge enables optimum dirt pick-up - efficient and reliable in everyday use.

The Palm hand sweeper is the perfect complement to the dustpan. Its ergonomically shaped handle is made of FSC-certified Swiss beech wood. An integrated hanging hole ensures simple and space-saving storage. Like the blade body, the bristles are made from palm leaf fibres, making the hand sweeper completely plastic-free. Thanks to the material-saving design in the usual Ebnat style, it offers reliable cleaning performance despite the reduced use of materials.

    Are plants cut down to obtain palm leaf for the dustpan?
    No, the dustpan is made from discarded palm leaf sheaths. No trees need to be felled and no plants har-vested for its production.

    Is the sweeping set really completely plastic-free?
    Yes, the Palm sweeping set is made from 100% natural materials and contains no plastic.

    Is the sweeping set made from 100% renewable raw materials?
    The dustpan is made entirely from palm leaf and therefore consists of 100% renewable raw materials. The bristles and brush body of the sweeping brush are also completely renewable. Only the small metal anchors for fixing the bristles are an exception. This means that the entire sweeping set is made from an impressive 99.95 % renewable raw materials.

    Is the sweeping set biodegradable?
    In principle, the entire sweeping set consists of biodegradable materials. The palm leaf dustpan can be dis-posed of in the green bin. However, the sweeping brush should be disposed of in the residual waste.

    Is the dustpan also suitable for damp dirt?
    Yes, despite or even because of its natural origin, the dustpan is robust and suitable for both dry and damp dirt in daily use.

    Is there anything to consider when storing the dustpan?
    To increase the longevity of the dustpan, we recommend storing it in a dry place with a constant warm temperature.

    How can effective dirt collection be ensured?
    The flat edge of the dustpan enables dirt and dust to be picked up reliably. Despite all efforts to make the edge as even as possible, the dustpan is a natural product. The palm leaf dustpan will therefore never fit the ground quite as precisely as our plastic dustpan with rubber lip. But see for yourself how efficient na-ture can be.

    Is the dustpan just as resilient as plastic versions?
    The stability of the dustpan is absolutely sufficient for everyday dirt. The fibre material used is naturally somewhat more fragile along the fibre direction. This is precisely why the palm leaf is moulded in an opti-mal direction so that the dustpan can develop its stability in the best possible and most reliable way.

    Does the dustpan contain plastic to stabilise the shape?
    No. The palm leaf sheaths are only washed and then pressed between heated moulds. After the drying process, they retain this shape permanently and are thus given their new function - in this case that of a stable dustpan. Plastic is not used at all.

    No palm trees grow in Switzerland - how can the product still be "Swiss Made"?
    The guidelines for the designation "Swiss Made" clearly regulate this case. For industrial products, at least 60 % of the manufacturing costs must be incurred in Switzerland. Costs for raw materials or materials that are objectively not available or not available in sufficient quantities in Switzerland - such as palm leaves - can be excluded from this calculation under certain conditions.
