Nature - Your questions, our answers

Is the Nature range made of 100% renewable raw materials?

The handles are made of FSC®-certified Swiss beech wood. Only natural raw materials such as arenga, bassine, fibre or pure horsehair are used as trim. All 100% renewable. Only the small metal anchors for fixing the bristles are an exception. Depending on the product, 99.XX % of this can be described as renewable.

Are Nature products really completely plastic-free?

Yes. The entire Nature range is completely plastic-free and therefore particularly environmentally friendly.

    Are Nature products biodegradable?

In principle, the entire range consists of biodegradable materials (with the exception of metal anchors). Nevertheless, we cannot declare the products as biodegradable. The brushes should be disposed of in the residual waste.
The reason for this is that many green waste recycling plants that process the contents of the green bin work with very short recycling cycles. A product like this would not be fully composted or fermented within this time. The brush also contains metal anchors that secure the bristles in the brush body. This leads to the brush being sorted out and then burnt.

What materials are Nature products made of?

The handles are made of FSC®-certified Swiss beech wood. Only natural raw materials such as arenga, bassine, fibre or pure horsehair are used as trim.
