“Swiss made” is also popular in the USA – Ebnat AG pushes export strategy with quality products

During this year’s International Home and Houseware Show from 17/03-21/03/2017 in Chicago (USA), Ebnat AG was represented in the household category at the trade show booth of its Mexican partner company Productos de Plastico Carcal. Ebnat showcased this year’s “Swiss Move” and “Omnia” innovations, as well as select products made of wood and plastic, featuring multiple benefits for the end user.

Over the course of the trade show, numerous customers from America, Canada, Asia and Europe visited the stand. Compared to previous years, it became apparent that an increasing number of European purchasers are looking for innovations and appealing products in Chicago.
Due to their obvious multiple benefits to the end user, the products by Ebnat AG were very well received. In particular, the modern look of “Swiss Move” and the technical features were praised.

Currently there is a huge trend towards sustainability and wood/natural products in the American market. This fact emphasises the importance of high-quality wood products “made in Switzerland”. Purchasers from notable companies were thrilled with the quality of the products from the heart of the Toggenburg region.
It became clear that the Americans’ understanding of sustainable products made from natural materials was exceeded by the standards of Ebnat AG, and that these standards will be able to raise the bar in the American market.

Given the fact that with a population of 324 million, the USA has almost 40 times the population of Switzerland (Switzerland 8.4 million), Ebnat AG sees huge potential in this market and will continue to pursue its strategy of entering into contracts in the American market.
