Cutting shop

What happens here:
Having been dried to the correct humidity level, planks are cut up and planed.  

Production steps:
The dried planks (8 to 10% humidity) are cut to length and cut on the multi-plank circular saw, before being planed and processed into blanks. After this they arrive in the wood processing section for shaping.

A few figures:
– Each year, we produce approx. 350 tonnes of scrap wood, which is chopped up and then used for heating
all of our manufacturing and office facilities.  
– About 1 million blanks are cut every year.
