What happens here: The injection moulded toothbrush bodies are stamped out and packaged here.
Production steps: For toothbrushes, the anchor stamping procedure is used exclusively. A flat wire piece anchors the bunch of bristles in the injection moulded bristle hole. Afterwards, the bristles are trimmed and rounded off; a round-end design is run. Round-ending means: the edges of the individual bristles are rounded off to guarantee they are gentle on teeth. Then the toothbrush handles are printed with writing (logo style) using a hot embossing process. Finally, the finished toothbrushes are packaged in blister packs.
A few figures: – Around 1 kg of Tynex head material is required to make 1,000 toothbrushes. – The hourly production rate per machine is 800 to 1,200 toothbrushes, depending on the machine type. – Our annual production is approx. 12 million toothbrushes.
