What happens here:
Logs that have been delivered are sawn up and processed ready for further production steps.

Production steps:
The logs that have been delivered are sawn up into planks on the log band saw and subsequently stored in the open air for one year (max. 16% humidity). The optimal processing humidity is 8 to 10%. Depending on the thickness of the planks and the initial humidity level, the wood is artificially dried in a drying kiln for approx. 2 to 28 days.

A few figures:
– Each year, approx. 1,000 m3 of wood is utilised.
– The waste per log is approx. 2/3.
– We use exclusively wood from controlled sources (FSC certified).
